    Hi,

Hope this is the right forum. Apologies if I'm in the wrong place. Grovelling done here is my question. I've been looking around at people who do back massage. Is it me or this this area pretty unregulated. Does anyone know what qualification I should ask for? Are there any relevent ones that I should look out for?
any comments/suggestions much appreciated on this...

    Mhaire.

PS:- Apologies once again if I'm in the wrong place.

Most therapists should have an ITEC Diploma.

Ask who they're registered with. If they did an ITEC course it will probably be with "Embody". You can e-mail or call them to see if the therapist is really with them and if they are insured.
The therapist should really be part of a governing body, but, it's not mandatory.
