you can get it from any of the uk sellers, i often get gas from wolfarmouries, but theres a list of uk suppliers in the where to buy sticky.

theres also bmfs which is located in dublin, i believe he usally has some stock of gas

sorry, its BFSL and the number is 0868756754

BFSL are 15euro for gas and 15/20 euro for BB's depending on what ones you get.
Not sure what his stock level is ATM as he had a bit of trouble with supplies but has a large shipment inbound so if he doesnt have any now, will have soon.

Just a quick question regarding the gas that BFSL sell, is it usually 134a or green gas, or do they usually retail both varieties?

    , Thanks.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,674 ✭✭✭Skatedude

think he does both, but it will also depend on what gun you have, most recommend 134a as its got silicon in it and isnt as powerfull as green gas

134a doesnt normally have silicon in it, thats maintenance gas and costs more. Its Cybergun Gas he sells.

    I'm gonna order this pistola...
    http://cgi.ebay.com/HFC-METAL-Beretta-M190-Special-Force-Airsoft-GBB-Pistol_W0QQitemZ270084097067QQihZ017QQcategoryZ31685QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem

What gas would I need for it and where would be my best place to get it?

From the description, it says "HFC134a" -- but I'm looking on WolfArmouries and it has a load of different 134a gases, but no HFC134a. Should I take it that it doesn't make a difference which brand it is, once it's 134a?
And do I need some sort of adaptor/nozzle in order to put it into the gun, or should the gun/gas come with it?

Thanks folks! Just got a new job today, so gonna celebrate by buying some more equipment ;)

134a is just shortened version of HFC134a

It also takes Top/Green gas (HFC22) for more power. I got green gas here:

    http://www.fire-support.co.uk/store/comersus_viewItem.asp?idProduct=1537

The gas can comes with its own nozzle to fill the mag.

Oh did you get the same pistol? What you think of it?
How much is delivery for just a canister of gas (from that site)?

Also I need to get a belt or holster to hold it, and I was thinking of getting a drop-leg holster, but I'm not sure how they stop from falling down your leg!
I'll show you what I mean.........

    I'm getting this vest:
    http://cgi.ebay.com/SAS-SDU-LEVEL-3-Tactical-Assault-Hunting-Vest-VT-14-BK_W0QQitemZ270090490553QQihZ017QQcategoryZ137007QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem

And I was thinking of getting a simple drop-leg holster like this:
    http://cgi.ebay.com/SWAT-Dropleg-Universal-Leg-Pistol-Holster-RH-HS-11-BLK_W0QQitemZ270090458747QQihZ017QQcategoryZ73972QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem

But I just want to be sure -- the belt part that comes down vertically in the holster pic -- will that clip onto the vest? Anyone know?

widely accepted as the best full metal pistol around, at least in its price range. always gets recommended when some1 wants a metal pistol :D . you'll love it believe me ;)

Yeah I'm ordering it on your recommendation, so if it sucks.... well, let's just say you'll be playing a game of Russian roulette ;) -- WITH MY AK!!! :D

Can you help me with the holster issue? I'm just wondering what the drop-leg holster latches onto (besides wrapping around your leg of course). Will it latch onto the SAS vest I linked to okay? Cos the latches on the vest seem to be more around the front, whereas I would think you would want the pistol to be to the side. I don't really want the pistol swinging around my groin, y'know! :D

If I can find a holster that'll fit okay, then I'll be placing the following order....
    M190 pistol
    SAS Vest
    Holster
    High Cap FAMAS mag
    Gas

    :)

awite il accept that , you go 1st though ;) , the droplegs have a loop that attaches to a belt aswell to stop it falling down to your ancle, dunno if itl latch onto the vest but maxforce/oisin and a bunch of people have taht exact vest so they could tell ya

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 828 ✭✭✭whupass

    ha got there first!!

just for being slow i think you should pay for my airsofting tomorrow!! :D

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 27,856 ✭✭✭✭Dave!

Hmmm I still don't understand how they attach to a belt either

Like if I buy this belt will the holster attach to it?
    http://cgi.ebay.com/USMC-Eagle-Army-Marine-BDU-Nylon-Duty-Belt-BL-54-BLACK_W0QQitemZ270089560346QQihZ017QQcategoryZ137007QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem

Check out my dodgey attached picture for a bit of a better explaination... Maybe you could link me to a belt that the drop-leg holster could attach to, if it doesn't attach to the one I linked to?

Sorry for all the questions lads, but I wanna be sure before I place the order!!!

1 more question about this, which extra mag do I order?
    http://stores.ebay.com/eHobby-Asia-Airsoft-Supplier_Magazines_For-Pistol_W0QQcolZ4QQdirZ1QQfsubZ3162418QQftidZ2QQpZ2QQtZkm

There's a few there that say "fit all m9 & m92 series", and there's one that specifically says m190 -- but it says it's for the CO2 version  I'll be ordering this gas, so which extra mag should take that?

Cheers boss! I fired your one today and felt it would be a crime not to order it ASAP :D

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,518 ✭✭✭[--SC(+)PE--]

thats odd, they dont seem to have any hfc mags at the moment, their the best ya can get for it although the kjw/marui will work to but would be more prone to leakage.if ya wait a day or 2 they might have the hfc mags back up cos i wouldnt see y they'd stop selling em

Best site to get Green Gas off, anyone?

I'm trying to get this off FireSupport
    http://www.fire-support.co.uk/store/...idProduct=1537

But whenever I click "add to basket", it takes me to a page telling me that cookies aren't enabled. They are! And I've tried on 3 different browsers!!! Cocks.

    edit:
I managed to get past the cookies part but then when I go to pay for the order I get a f*cking error message!!!!!!!!!!!

    "Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a005b'

    Object variable not set

    E:\DOMAINS\F\FIRE-SUPPORT.CO.UK\USER\HTDOCS\STORE\../includes/sessionFunctions.asp, line 38"

Shower of retards running that shop!

I was at HRTA on sat and loads of ye' were using propane, and explained how it was cheaper and all you need to do is either put silicon in the nozzle or use normal gas every 10 Mags.

I got two cans of Propane in B&Q for 10.95 each. Is there any disadvantage to using these? Also, this is the nozzle, any where sell these cheaper? Green gas is definitely a rip off.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,518 ✭✭✭[--SC(+)PE--]

only disadvantage is the stench ;) if ya can live with that its clear sailing
airsoft-innovations.com is probably the cheapest place i got mine of some ebay shop but it was about 50$ delivered

Now that it's working some extra mags would be brilliant. Running into battle with four would be about right. I just have to find some way of holding them.

And keep away from naked flames!

NP :p i normally do the (normal gas every 10 Mags) if i had oil i would use that.

o1s1n : i think the prob with your mac is the gas your using(not powerful enough) cos when you used some of my propane it worked!!!!! apart from the ejection port kills :p

Edit how is paddy again ??? im not that good with name :p

It's deff the gas alright. I was told that at Predator by The Surgeon but was a little unsure. ICS. Avoid like the plague!

After contacting Derek at BFSL to get gas and BBs it turns out that with my work hours and the fact I don't drive I can't get to him and its not realistic for him to get to me as I live on the other side of the city:(.

So after BFSL what the best and quickest place to get 134 gas and quality BBs 23g or higher? I don't really want to use 22 gas even though my GBB can take it, I just want my pistol to last a little while.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,323 ✭✭✭Spitfire666

I'll be going over to BFSL to pick up my AK74 and some other bits during the week so do you want me to get some gas and BB's for you? I'm in the swords/coolock side of the city.

If he were to post it to me, how would I pay him. Registered post, I don't like the idea of sending cash in the post.
It would be great if he could get some sort of online shop set up.

Thanks for your offer Spitfire, I'm not far from the Coollock area.
