Bananas after footy training

    Hi i was eating a banana after training tonight in the dressing room when my manager suggested that bananas were not good for you after a training session and i dont believe there is any truth in that!

    can anybody shed any light on the issue for me??

    I thought they were good, my coach always gives us bananas and oranges. SAys that the bananas replace the lost potassium from the training or something.

    did he give a reason why he didn't think they where not good and did he suggest something that you could have instead
