What do you mean a smoothie? As in adding extra fruit and stuff?

well it is specially designed to be in the correct ratio's of everything as is, so why would you want to go screwing around with it and adding stuff

Anyway, how could you possibly make Orange RAM taste any better?
    Simply couldn't be done....

I suggest you buy new taste buds in the Body Shop.

R.A.M without doubt is one of the, if not THE best tasting Supplement on the market.
Adding your own concoction to it defeats its purpose.

Whilst it is the best tasting of all shakes, it does still taste like muck compared to standard drinks.

    Never tried it.

Gotta say though, I love the taste of my Choc Mint ON Whey with nice cold milk... tastes so good. Most decent supplements taste ok in this day and age.

Guys, you all suck balls. RAM is gorgeous. :D

As for adding stuff, course you could, just make sure your aware of how much carbs/protein/fats are in your additions. Or, man up and drink a shake that takes about 5 seconds to put away. If that Riot Training guy can down a tuna in coke then I'm sure you could finish off a RAM!

By standard I mean pretty much every non-supplement drink. Milk, water, soda pop!

So do most people who use it only take RAM on its own? eating anything else would also be "screwing around" the ratios. If he blended a banana and juice in with it or ate them separately it is the same effect.

I think what JSB meant was that the carbs, protein etc is already there, so if you do go adding stuff then just be sure you keep track of the extra carbs and whatnot. As I already said.

Maybe try it with fizzy bottled water, be careful though it will foam up a lot.

ye as D said all you need to do is just take the RAM by itself and that will provide you with everything you need post workout, you don't need to take anything else, however if you do you have to ask why are you taking it and how it's fit's into your PWO shake, So are you just going to add more sugar that you mighn't actually need or are you going to cut back on the portion size of the RAM to allow for the extra sugar but then you have to worry about adding some extra protein to keep the carb:protein ratio.
For me the main advantage of RAM is that that is all I need and I don't have to worry about portion sizes of protein to carb when I am running out the door to work in the morning. Chances are that if you need to use fruit and stuff in it maybe you are probably better using seperate supplements as oppose to an all in 1

    Ugh orange RAM,

Strawberry RAM ftw!! The only reason people say orange is they're not comfortable enough to be seen drinking a pink drink.

Just had my first Orange RAM there a while ago - really nice drink! Especially compared to protein shakes!

Sorry to stray off topic but has anyone here tried Myoplex (the standard kind, not the diet) and thought it tasted good?

I love normal whey protein etc but this stuff just turns my stomach whenever i try it. I have tried both strawberry and chocolate and I have about 25 sachets left of Myoplex I will never use because of the taste.

I love the taurine in it though, really gets you wired :D
