Moving to Boston

How's it going. I'm going to be living in Boston for the next few months until June at least. I have a question about housing, I want to live on the red line since my contract is in Cambridge. Can anyone suggest any good areas either towards the Alewife end ie Harvard, etc or the Boston side of the red line. Better still…

How's it going. I'm going to be living in Boston for the next few months until June at least.

Better still if anyone has friends or knows somebody living in Cambridge/Boston looking for a roomate.
