ComReg released a non-compliance notification (modification).

My interpretation is that ComReg investigated eircom (retail) for abusing the InterConnect agreements by accessing customers UAN (with or without their consent isn't the issue). They found eircom guilty, and issued a notice of non-compliance last year. No punishment in the notice, though. SHOCK HORROR! eircom are fixing their IT systems to not allow access to UAN. No timeframe agreed. The best bit? The whole agreement is based on eircom not admitting guilt!

So either ComReg are corrupt and look on eircom favourably, or ComReg are walking on egg shells around eircom. Why?

Well, they seem to hint at the 30th April 2007. I agree that's it still is a bit wishy washy.

Lots of "mays" and "coulds" etc.
