The Awards Thread

As awards season is swinging into action, I was thinking about what award I'd most like to win. I always thought I'd like an Oscar or a Grammy.. but apparently some talent (questionable!!) is required to win either.

So I figured I'd be happy with Man of the Year 2007. The award would be given based on a number of factors, least of all being good looks, talent, bank balance and/or likeability.

What would you like to win, or what have you won?*

*If you have won an Oscar/Grammy then I really don't need to know. My heart is in too many pieces already :(

You don't sound so generous to me.

You should have given the award away to some needy kids...

I won a huge pack of fig rolls with it and I did give it away to kids!
All my all ireland medals and national science quiz victories mean nothing compared to that.

Pah, my friend didn't miss a day in all 14 years of school, including 4th year!

I don't think I've ever won any awards of note :(.

More to the point, how does she know for sure that her mate had an unblemished 14 year attendance record?

2nd prize in the "staff favourites " on ratemypoo.com.

(No link posted as that would not be in good taste)

    Eww...congrats though!

Have won a few awards in the Gaeltacht/school through the years but can't remember what a single one of them was...obviously not the most meaningful awards anyway!

More recently, I was part of a team that won an "award", best college poker team in the country as of Sunday! In yer face NUIG, DIT etc! :D

Holding out for the Man of the New Millenium award though.

Have a few academic and art medals from school. Think they're the only awards I've ever won.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.
