Basic Advice

    Hi,

Just a couple of quick queries. I am an idiot when it comes to the science of fitness, so please be gentle. :o

I am 5ft 5inc, 32-34 waist, have not weighed myself for a few years but I'm guessing I am between 10stone and 10 stone and a half.!

I run about 10k plus a week, and walk at quite a pace for about 24k plus a week. I also do about 60 sit ups each morning 5 days a week. Play football sometimes, and eat wellish, although probably too much. weight is down on what it was a few years back. My stomach is flatter, and there is a shape of sorts across my abs, but very far from a six pack. Rather like a large one pack :)

Now I know I am not doing enough to have a perfect body, but is there a couple of easy things I could ad to my life to help get a better uper body and ab shape? I want my torso and upper body to look less flabby bascially.

I have no real interest in joining a gym, or working a huge amount on weights extra. Don’t have time or inclination, rather run and walk.

But is there anything I could add to home based work out that would be good? Skipping for instance?

    Cheers.

basically your best bet is to drop your BF% so get your diet in order, If you did want to get a bit more bulk on top you would have to do some resistance training but as you couldn't be arsed doing that just stick with dropping the body fat levels

    Thanks for advice.

"some resistance training" does that have to be weights? Or does press ups etc count? Basically is there things I can do at home with no home based gym that could help me "bulk up" etc?

Gyms are expensive and just not my sort of thing really.
