It took me approximately 7 minutes to load my bookmarked boards page, log in, navigate to the games section when the dhtml randomly didnt work (lost all my *'s too) , click new thread, write post (not included in time) and submit.

7 minutes.

For some reason, navigating to feedback and replying to this was much faster. Well, as fast as its been over the last year anyway.

82.195.136.251 is much faster allright, but i did get a 25s load time in amongst the 2s-5s times (2s!!!!).

The other ip seems to be 10s pretty consistantly.

I found that over the last few days that the DB server seemed to be pretty fast but it was like the web server was slowing things down.
Avatars and icons taking more than 30 seconds to load.

To clarify (because I dont think Cloud mentioned it)... this ISNT the new servers going in. This was an arcane configuration option that Cloud found a problem with. The new systems will be installed sometime in Feb by the looks of things.

Well I've been using it throughout lunchtime which is usually unusable for me. The real test is in the stats, if we have an increase in posts and new threads we'll know its better. The point isnt that its faster for us, it probably wont be because any new capacity is always eaten up by more users, staying longer.
