I been using a polar mointer and strap for for the last while. It's the type that sends the readins to a watch. It can also be used to send the readings directly to the treadmill. What I've noticedover the last while is that the figures apearing on my mointer and on the treadmill dont tally. By rights bought figures should be exactly the same as there mesuring only one pule. But there not. I've ruled out interference from other straps and machines. Does anyone know what causing this

Maybe ask at the Polar HRM group. Have you contacted Polar Support?

What model is it? (I didn't know there was one that communicated with treadmills)

I think it is the make of gym equipment as oppose to the watch model, as far as I know Lifefitness equipment have sensors to pick up the signal from Polar chest traps.
