Found this article on digg.com and thought it might be useful. The size of beer is in ounces, but that's easily converted via google. I for one was not aware that a Long Island Iced Tea had so many calories. Anyway, here's the site http://www.rochester.edu/uhs/healthtopics/Alcohol/caloricvalues.html

They do not say the recipie, the serving size is 12oz so I presume they are putting several full shots in there.

You have to take into account % too. i.e. a 3% beer may seem lower in calories than a 6% pilsner, but in reality you will drink twice as many 3% beers and the 6% may not be double the calories of the 3%

Nice list here http://www.barshots.com/beercalories.htm for metric measures which sorta gives conclusion that average pint of beer holds about 200 calories.

Article here http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/magazine/4329323.stm about wine more 'fattening' than beer!
