    I am about to join a gym for the first time tomorrow, and I am wondering where on the web I would be able to get a good diet planner for my ignorant self. I don't mean a guide, as in what's good or bad, I'm looking for something schedule-like that I can stick to at least until I become less ignorant about required diets, and more familiar with my own preferences and limitations.

    I am 5'9, 23, about 160lbs. I am ideally aiming for a little bulking of muscle with a high gain of fitness. Where could I find the diet planner I might need?

    It's probably best to get to this point as soon as possible. Finding out what foods and portion sizes are good for you takes a little bit of trial and error. In the stickies you'll see the dietary requirements for putting on muscle - you'll want at least 1.4 grams of protein for every kilo of bodyweight. There are numerous calorie counters on the web which tell you how much calories, protein, carbs, fat etc are in certain foods (just google 'calorie counters'), and get a good scales.
    I know you asked for a set diet plan, but the trouble here is getting things like portion sizes right - if you get this wrong your calorie intake could be 10 - 20% off what you think it is; also it can be difficult to maintain; it won't allow for your bodyweight and exact goals (you'll find a lot of them would be for weight loss, not gain); and sooner or later, it would get boring.
