I've started thinking I might give it a bash. Just the open mic nights for a start. Ever done it or know someone who has? I'd love to know what it's like!

I've thought about it and a friend is currently making a name for himself on the Dublin comedy circuit. I've written a few gags for him, but his stuff is mainly observational, which I wouldn't like to do myself as everyone does it.

One thing is for sure - you'll die the death until you find your 'voice'.

Check out any Bill Hicks DVD for a masterclass.
