Anyone got any advice on what to do to detox after the Christmas? What to eat to help that bloated feeling?

simply just cutting out all processed foods and minimising caffeine will go a long way towards making you feel better. Try and drink 3-4 (or more) litres of water, lay off the booze for a while and up your intake of fresh fruit and veg. Raw veg and fruit (especially tropical fruits like pineapple, papaya, mango) are high in digestive enzymes that'll help get your system back in working order and have oodles of fibre to help the whole thing.. er.. 'flow' easier :D

Honestly, eating a clean diet and drinking lots of water is the best form of detoxing

good advice there, don't blow your money on some snakeoil crap from a health shop. You get these "special" detox powders etc, normally says, mix with 500ml of water and drink 4 times per day. Drinking the 2 litres of water would do the same job!

And raw like g'em says, tinned fruit is heat sterilized which kills the "goodness"

Great advice. If I may also recommend drinking 2 or 3 mug of hot lemon and honey a day. It has a wonderful cleansing and refreshing effect and will help flush out the crap we consume by living in modern society. It’s very easy to prepare. Get a lemon take one slice, pour boiling water on top. Add half a tea spoon of Manuka 5+ honey to it and it is quite possibly the nicest drink on earth. Enjoy! :D
