Buy a 6 month gym membership! That way you get loads of good quality equipment. Any machine that costs under 200 is rarely good.

That uses a cable as opposed to a chain doesn't it? Looks a bit dodgy imo, would prefer something more solid. More concept 2 really.

Agree with the gym membership, but perhaps the op feels they will be able to keep to their commitment better the less hassle there is involved in doing so?

I can't workout at home - once i'm at the gym I find it easier to stay at my full workout.

OP, unless you get a very good 2nd hand deal, I would forget anything decenty for 200quid

I have gym membership with work but its not always handy when you get home late im sure ye all know what it can be like, but if i had a rowing machine at home i feel i could give 20 minutes so at least id be doing something rather than nothing.

I do a good bit of running and i prefer to be out on the road or in the park than on the threadmill due to shin splints problems and id like to have a rowing machine at home to keep up my upper body strength!

I have no problems with motivation to actually work out at home as long as i have music, i know some people need to hit the gyms to get anything constructive done but not me thankfully.

so back to the point if anyone knows a good rower at a good price,
thinking of getting the RBK Fusion Rower from Argos, Reduced from €500 to €300 seems decent
