Actually X is the Greek letter 'christo' and it's use here is to indicate Christ, so you are actually saying 'Christo' mas.

Just a trivial fact to fill your stocking and give you Xmas to remember.

Please accept with no obligation, Implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress, non-addictive, gender neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religions or secular tradition at all.
In addition: “a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling, and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make Ireland great, (not to imply that Ireland is necessarily greater than any other country or is the only ‘Ireland' in the World), and without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith, choice of computer platform, or sexual orientation of the wisher”

(Disclaimer: By accepting this greeting, you are accepting these terms. This greeting is subject to clarification or Withdrawal. It is freely transferable with no alteration to the original greeting. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for her/himself or others, and is void where prohibited by law, and is revocable at the sole discretion of the wisher. This wish is warranted to perform as expected within the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year, or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and warranty is limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wisher who assumes no responsibility for any unintended emotional stress these greetings may bring to those not caught up in the holiday spirit.)

In other words, may I wish you a very happy, healthy and holy Christmas and a very happy New Year!

Never underestimate hate, for it is because of man-kinds' hatred that Christ was born.

How much does a grip man cost? Would Amazon ship it in time for christmas?

21st is too early in my opinion for posting Happy Christmas titled threads. Oh wait, happy easter 07'. Woohoo, I did it before everyone else. I'm special.

    Move along hippy

First off, I really hate Christmas and all the nonsense that comes with it but for some reason I woke up today and I'm actually in a good mood. Perhaps it’s because I finished work yesterday and I'm off all next week or maybe it’s because I actually got a good nights sleep last night, it could be relief from finally getting rid of BT broadband, or perhaps I'm just happy because I have the house to myself today and can walk around naked and leave the bathroom door open while I do my stuff.

What ever the reason, I am feeling sufficiently good enough to be able to wish all you boardsies (even the right wingers over on the politics forum) a happy few days off work and may all your hangovers be short lived.

    Have a good one everyone,

from a surprisingly good humoured uncle clownbag.

But actually untrue... X is Chi, (unless my classics teacher was just havin a laugh with us...) it isn't Christo

I think it is because X can be referred to as "cross" which sounds like "Chris" as in "Christmas"

    Ah, good old Christmas pedantry...
