Last ex - through college, I worked in the SU cloakroom and she had the previous year and we got chatting when she handed in her bag. She got my number from a mutual friend and started texting me.

The previous ex - working part-time in Dunnes.

Met my BF in college.
I can remember sitting in room 6, (which means nothing to most of you, but hey!), beside my new best friend, who I had only met the for the first time the previous day, and we were scanning the room, gossiping in typical 'we're girls who have just met and have nothing else to talk about' fashion, about which of the boys we fancied most.
I scanned the room and my gaze landed upon none other then Davie Jay (as he liked to be known, mainly because he was a bit of a Muppet back then and fancied himself as a super star DJ (that's were my bebo nick comes from) ).
Fancied him from day one, and still fancy him today.

When I lived in Rathmines I used to go to the Laundrette down the road. I quite liked the young lady there and I had a feeling she liked me too, but wasn't sure. Anywhooo I attempted some conversation once and it didn't go quite so well, so I just kept smiling each time I went and asked her how she was. Well just before Christmas that year her boss was there and I didn't ask her how she was. Later that night there was a knock at my door and there was the lovely young lady from the laundrette on my doorstep telling me I never asked her how she was that night. We arranged to meet the next night and it was just as well as she was let go the next night (cause they were creepy cnuts).

That will be two years ago 23rd of this month!

eh, leavin a nightclub headin out to meet the girl i was seein at the time when a friend i hadnt seen in a while came up to me and said her mate liked the look of me so i told the other one to go to the party and i'd follow her, but i went off wit this one instead...and the rest is history.

Well I don't know whether to be flattered or slightly terrified but she knew where I lived because she knew the time I walked past her workplace on my way home from work and on her day off one day she followed me to see where I lived! :eek:

My friend had liked a guy for ages and she eventually plucked up the courage to ask for his number, he called her the next day and asked her to a house party. She asked me to come with her (hurray for me i was going to be the third tit), we had to meet him in a pub in town before hand.
So there we were in the pub and then she tells me that his friend was coming also, i was going to kill her for setting me up.:eek:
Anyway that was nearly 3 years ago and i'm still with the guy i was set up with.:D

I am surprised at how many people have met through connection organisations(online/ads/speed dating) and also as complete strangers in bars/clubs(that never worked for me).

Me, I met my current gf tru work. I thought it might be weird, but we enjoy spending a lot of time together. Plus you can act out all the daydreaming you do while at work...

My best mate was friends with this guy and he invited us over to his house, we were mates for a few months and then on halloween we kissed and that was that.
I was 15 then and i'm 20 now. Still great!
