    Hi,

I know this is not a medical forum but I think it's the most appropriate place to seek information on this subject. I've been combining Hydroxycut tablets with a calorie controlled diet and some exercise and haven't been feeling the best as a result. I've been tired, a little bit withdrawn and my appetite has almost disapeared, I have to almost force food down and feel like puking up when I do. At breakfast this morning I couldn't even finish a bowl of cereal and normally I'd have cereal, toast and 2 poached eggs. I know that it acts as an appetite supressant but am beginning to get a bit weirded out by how much it is supressing my appetite. In addition my sex drive has increased by about 100%, not necessarily a bad thing but still a slight concern. Anyone ever use Hydroxycut or something similar and if so did you experience any similar effects? I've lout 9lbs in the last 9 days.

    have you checked the ingredients?

sex drive increase is caused by the Yohimbe...I got that before when i tried lipo 6

Chances are there is some appetite suppressants in the Hydroxycut.

How many servings are you taking per day?

    Are you exercising?

    Are you losing bodyfat galore...?

Taking 6 per day, 2 before breakfast, lunch and dinner, am exercising too, as much as I can anyway. I've lost about a stone since I started on the programme about 10 days ago, I hope to drop another stone before Christmas and then I'll be in pretty good shape and should be in a position to do something about this permanent unsettling desire to hump every object that I see, I'm like a 13 year old boy. The tablets cost 50 euro for 100 and when taking 6 per day the course will only last for a couple of weeks but I'm not too concerned, it's working. I'm also pigging out on protein and fruit and veg, laying off pasta and that sort of thing and trying to hit the gym and do as much running as I can.

    These results are impressive.

I'm wondering if its all bodyfat you've lost - i.e. have you dropped a size / has your face shrank / do you have obviously more muscle definition?

BTW, each serving of that stuff (serving being three capsules) contains 280mg of Caffiene, which is a lot ( equivalent to 4 cups of strong coffee).

If you're having these, and a coffee - you could easily pip 600mg caffiene a day, which as I understand, is not advisable. Not only this, but the combined other stimulants might be having a strong effect on your system, so be careful.

How much exercise are you doing?

BTW, it's important to eat, because otherwise it's possible to burn up lean muscle mass, just as much as it fat.

Johnny, I don't think this sounds like the best thing in the world to be taking if it's gonna have such an extreme effect on your body, man. I know it's great to lose lots of weight, but at the expense of what? It sounds like you're having a hard time of it (apart from the sex drive :D ). but seriously, maybe you should knock it on the head? Fitness is about being more healthy, not less.

I've used Hydroxycut on two occasions. And I've also used Lipo 6. I find Hydroxycut to be the most effective. My first experience with it wasn't particualrly good. Lots of involunatry shaking, pretty bad explosive bowl movments. At the time I was taking the same dosage you are. I'm quite sensitive to caffine and was also gettign real gittery. So I stopped.

I tried it again a few months later and slowly eased into it. Started on just 2 a day and built up over a week and half to the 6 a day. Worked like a charm - reduced appetitie, fast fat loss. Great, nothing but good things to say and I have recomend it to clients on occasion. But I do think its important to start slowlsy and guage your bodies reactions.

Cut back and see if the symptoms ease. If not stop using the product. That simple. As previously said here - fitness is really about being healthier.

A friend of mine used it and had some mild side effects such as jitters etc, the usual caffeine stuff. It did seem to help him during a cutting phase however, so he was overall pretty happy about it.

My younger sister (aged 20) is using it along with a, to be fair to her, pretty good, balanced diet. She's easing into it, and I guess I'll see how it works for her soon enough.
