Arsenal score first: 3-0 home win.
    Spurs score first: 1-1 draw.

Should face Porto with a bit more confidence now.

Adebayor gone off to a huge reception, that young Walcott lad is on.

edit:// How Emannuel Eboue is still alive after this game, I will never know.

I am so f*cking pissed off right now.

Spurs were an absolute shambles today, no heart, no passion, no tactical nous.

Arsenal fully deserved their win, but were made to look much better than they were by a totally inept performance from Spurs. BAE at LB was made look like a Sunday team player by Ljunberg, lucky to last 45 minutes and at fault for the build up to the 1st half peno.

Poor decision by Poll for the 1st peno, but no denying that Arsenal would have scored another either way.

Our midfield was non-existent,so much so that Keane had to drop deep and leave that lazy git Berbatov on his own up front.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 28,128 ✭✭✭✭Mossy Monk

yes, Spurs were a joke today. 1st half was probably the most 1 sided half i have ever seen

    happy with the result though

Bellamy just scored a real beauty for Liverpool

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,515 ✭✭✭✭Rikand

    1509: GOAL Wigan 0-1 Liverpool
This is not a typo of any sorts, but the Reds have scored away from home. Craig Bellamy races on to long ball from John Arne Riise which was inadvertently flicked on by Emmerson Boyce. That is their first goal away from home in 569 minutes, or nine hours and 29 minutes if you rather.

And blackburn 2-0 up after 20 mins! good stuff so far :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,515 ✭✭✭✭Rikand

    Stop the presses

    1526: Wigan 0-2 Liverpool
And it is two for Liverpool as well. Craig Bellamy latches on to Steven Gerrard's through ball and finishes well. Emmerson Boyce was in the wrong place at the wrong time again, playing the Welsh striker onside.

No goals in 6 games away from home

2 goals in 20 mins at wigan, Dont rwrite off their title hopes yet folks! :D

    another good finish by Bellamy

Floodgates opened in Wigan V Pool. Some good goals, Bellamy totally on fire. 4-0 probably a bit flatterring, but unless some kind of collapse happens, the first away win of the premiership on its way for Liverpool. About bloody time.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

Kuyts goal was top draw, a reminder of how Liverpool can play - a wonderful sweeping move. That nearside linesman really needs to visit a well known chain of opticians!

Jenas and keane have to be two of the most on/off players ever. They either turn up and are great or they may as well be in the stand. Theres no middle ground with either.

Doyle on the mark again today. He is doing really well. Could turn out to be the striker we've been looking for (for Ireland).
