If it's a Premium system (though I doubt it) that's a good deal.
Otherwise you can buy a core system for €299 off Komplett.

Is it the core or complete system they have at 409? My girlfriend said she would check but all she could say was it was a green box!

The premium is the one for 400. Stay away from the core, Its a waste. Spend the 100 euro extra and get the premium pack. You get a HDD, Wireless controller, Headset and HD Component cable. It'd cost around €200 [b}atleast[/b] to buy them seperate afterwards. Also the Premium has nice chrome finish on the DVD Drive And IMO the HDD is nessecary to take advantage of the 360, With online play, Downloading content off XBox live, Saving game data etc. It works out cheaper by a long shot to get the premium over the stripped core package.

Smyths toys have a deal with the premium 360 kit with an extra wireless controller and two games for 449. I think thats a better deal

I enquired about this today at Tescos in Greystones but they were out of stock and so I was unable to avail of the offer. Did anybody else have this problem at other stores?

When Tesco first started stocking the 360's they only got in Cores and were selling them for 409, thats a few months ago now though and I would be sure someone would have pointed out there error by now, anyway just make sure to check first.

i seen an ad for this in a paper during the week and the xbox had HDD on top in the pic so i presume its the premium

In xtra-vision you can get an x-box 360 with pro evo 6, project gotham racing, gears of war and the new splinter cell for €499. Which is quite insane, and even if you dont like any of them you can just trade them in for something else!

I got the premium with extra wireless controller and PGR3 for 440 and will be getting 110 back with my february clubcard statement. This was in Clearwater, Finglas store.

I got one yesterday in Waterford, like the above it is the premium version of the system, plus and extra wireless controller and Project Gotham 3. 440, which works out at 330 Euro.

Trumps any deal out there ! They had none on display so I just asked at the counter and they brought one out of the stores. Same thing happened when the laptop deal was on a few months ago, none on display, plenty hidden in the stores.

During the ads for the Late Late Toy Show, the Tesco 25% off ad was on about 3 or 4 times. I thought it was the clubcard points offer so I was reading the small print but it said nothing about clubcard points.
Is this a newer offer?

yes its a new ad, the price is 325euro for the package, picked one up at the maynooth store

picked one up this morning myself too and you dont have to wait ill feb for your vouchers, its an instant saving. I noticed they had a car satnav system too, think it was around 320 and with discount that would bring it to 240 ish. Has anyone bought one and if so whats it like?

Apparently you do, I think it said in the advertisement that the extra points don't appear on you receipt but you do get the €82 or so back next year. The 25% reduction is on the original price which brings it down to €329 and then you get 25% of the discounted price back in vouchers which is €82.25.

I wish , but I would say the 25% they are on about is the instant reduction that brings it down to €330. Then you get 330 club card points which you will receive in feb. If the other 25% does apply it would mean you were getting it for half price but as is im happy with the reduction I got so anything else is a bonus ... fingers crossed though

Oh and I dont think you need a clubcard to avail of this as the €330 price came up before I gave my card in.

Got 50% off total. Their was about 20 people queing holding xbox's. They ran out of em.

Got one last night. Premium with extra controller and PGR3 for about $330 at the till. Staff signed me up for a clubcard on the spot so i wouldn't miss out on the vouchers either. Great deal.

i was in dundrum today, no sign of any 360 there.
i ended up gettin the xtravision deal, which is good and i could get it straight away.
tesco deal is good too but i wasnt goin to waste the whole day moving from tesco to tesco for findin one

I got the last Gears bundle in Tesco Ashbourne, there was one COD3 bundle left and that was it. Phew!!
I'll check out Tesco Maynooth today and see what is left.

Not much good for anyone who didnt get one but when inquiring about the xbox360 I asked would they be doing the same deal again before Xmas and was told no. As the next 25%/25 rebate offer will be on toys, which I presume will include xbox360 games. So get checking the titles in your local tesco lads:D

Can anyone who has bought this post what all was included in the Tesco bundle?
I got just the Xbox360 Premium Console, 1 Wireless Controller, 1 Extra Controller, 1 Headset, and PGR3.

Meanwhile a friend got the PES6 Bundle which included ALL of the above! Even the PGR3! Thats 2 Games!

Was this a mistake or everyone who got the PES6 bundle got this?

What was the Gears of War bundle like?
