Hi im not sure this should be here but i cant find anywhere else. Basically i got a new pair of shoes that hurt a lot and very very tight around my right ankle. Now i think i may have damaged a nerve as whenever i touch parts of my right ankle i get a sharp pain on the top of my foot and towards my toes on the outside, also i cant train or put on any kind of runner that puts any kind or pressure on my foot as it feels like i am compressing swelling (no swelling evident) is the only way i can describe it! Its unbearable pain and i have to take the shoe/runner straight off! Anyone ever have a similar thing or would anyone have any idea what it might be. i was thinking of leaving it for a few days to see if it gets better but its over a week now and i already have to get an operation on my knee so i hope to god this isn't another surgeon visits!!

Sounds like you should get that checked out by a physiotherapist. I have a fair idea whats wrong but a bit of treatment from a physio would probably go a long way. And by the way chuck those runners
