Like all of these things, flash drives can sustain only a limited number of write & remove cycles before they muck up. Id say these are of the lowest quality

Is this the man ? Excellent price, I only bought a 2G one last week though. Sickener.

TECHNOLOGY. Eliminate any trace of user presence on the PC, using U3 technology, allowing use anywhere without concern. Migo software trial pre-loaded.

does this mean it U3 enabled??

OP thanks for the link, the advantage of ordering through a company that deals with them regulary is that I ordered mine around under 3 hours ago and they are already sitting on my desk

ye I still have a funny feeling that at 12.25 somebody made a mistake entering the price into their system and is probably going to get into a hell of a lot of **** for the miscalculation

Mate just sent me a link to this.. great value too!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,858 ✭✭✭CuppaCocoa

I'd say it's probably a clerical error! They're advertised on the back cover of the new catalogue. The code is GW6ATIVA4GB at 79.99!

  • Moderators, Recreation & Hobbies Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 15,790 Mod ✭✭✭✭Tabnabs

I was quoted 122.50 for 10 plus the extras, ordered an hour or so ago and will deliver when new stock comes in. She asked me what price I had seen it quoted at?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,898 ✭✭✭✭Nalz

my mate rang them up, its a clerical error. real price is 80, anyone that ordered them when they were cleared out will be charged at 80 quid...they are unsure about the one's that were bought when in stock :(

    Ah crap! just ordered one!

Said this on my order details though:
    SubTotal: €0.00

    Delivery: FREE
    *Protection Plus: N/A
    V.A.T. €0.00
    Total: €0.00

I just ordered one too - it did show up as being "€0.00" until I added a few more things that I intended to buy and went through to the checkout, where the order subtotal and total were calculated correctly.

If they are going to change the price back to €80 as Trilla suggested then I'm just going to cancel the order. Viking do have random good offers like this one though, so it might actually work out.

Emmm they cant just go changing a price after something is ordered. They have the option to cancel the orders alright, but people wont just be charged €80, IF it was a mistake. A few people have said they've rang up and had it confirmed that was the price, one guy even said he had his already.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,626 ✭✭✭davehey79

just rang up and cancelled the order ill wait til they come back into stock and see if the cheap price is still quoted to order not riskin €80 eurons!

I just rang up. I said that the subtotal was 0.00.
The girl had a look at my account. She said the reason was because they were on back order.
She said I wouldn't be charged until the items came in and were shipped out to me.

I asked if I would be charged the price that was shown (€12.25) on screen and that is on my order and she said yes.

If they charge me €80 or whatever it is, I'll just return them.
