Alright, my orthotics are shook, the leather is all cracked and basically they are getting very worn looking (the leather sole that covers the orthotic that is). So does anyone know where in Ireland I can get them recovered?

    Thanks

Where you get them? ie Who made them?

    Yeah....the answers is 'Depends'.

Can you take a pic of them and post it here and then I can tell you where you can be helped.

Orthotics have many guises. 95% of what calls themselves 'orthotics' have no right to do so.

I got them on order from my physio. They are made from hard plastic shaped to my sole of my foot, which was measured using a gait analysis device. The orthotic itself is intact and doesnt seem to be damaged but the leather covering it is in a sorry state, playing rugby in them last year really took its toll on them.

    *EDIT*
    Looks like this

Jesus, if they are the ones in the picture they are not good. However they sound like these or these. Both I have opinions on that I will keep to myself.

Either way you need to return them to your physio who will send them to the makers who will recover them.

    Good luck.

PS That was not gait analysis. That was pressure analysis. Dont get me started.... ;)

i was trying to remember all day what they were called and they are footmaxx alright, just remembered it when I saw the website.

Why? Whats wrong with them? They worked for me, is there any reason which I should not be using them?

    Thanks for your help though.
