morning runs

    i want to start working out twice a day what i was thinking of was gettin up early and goin for a gentle 5k run then do weights or swimming in the evening.

    Is this a good idea? now i know what you are thinking there is no way that i would be able to het up in the morning and go for a run , well let me tell ya that i have done it before it was tough mind but gave up because was not sure if it was good for me

    I tried it for a week and it is rough on the joints alright so make sure you get yourself a cheap pair of proper running shoes for it.
    Also, its a completely different story to running on a treadmill or the likes, you have all the extra forces, and let me warn you, that mornin air catches your breath like crazy.
    It wuold get you super fit tho and i doubt you would need to do more cardio later in the day, unless you plan on doing ironman/triathalon etc

    Depends on whether you're a 'morning person' or not.

    The thought of getting out of bed and going running would just about finish me off!

    But maybe you can handle it
