Listing nutrional content and Lidl

    Just a quick wee question.

I like Lidl generally as a store. Easy to get around, cheap as chips and convenient to get to. I like a lot of the stuff from there, but I'm a bit concerned that very little of their products seem to list the nutrional content on the packaging. I admit, it might hard to fit it, as they tend to list the ingerients in a load of different languages, but I thought it was law to have nutritional content listed on food products in Ireland? Maybe I'm wrong, but its only the past while I've been really carefully watching the values of foods and its the one thing that really turns me off buying the products from these stores. I like to try and make a semi-informed decision on what I'm buying. Mayeb its the same in other stores too, but Lidl is my own experience.

Anyone know if they're obliged to list foods nutrional values by law?

I don't buy anything from Lidl purely because I'm too lazy. Aldi is on road home from work/college for me so I go there to buy Salad Mix, Tiger Prawns, Nuts, Olive Oil, Natural Youghurt and Cottage Cheese. All the above have nutritional info posted on the packaging.

Yes food packaging is required to have nutritional information on it by law.

*edit* although I think it only applies to food made in Ireland so if it is imported I'm not too sure
