    Hey all,

Post workout I always crave something sugary. Is this normal? If so, should I be taking something before/during a session?

I am going to try some isotonic drinks (I noticed some helpful recipes on this forum) but I feel that I don't train to a level where is will be effective.

    Any thoughts?

yep this is perfectly normal, after a strenuous workout your body craves energy. The fastest way to get to get energy into your body is by getting glucose(sugar) into your body. Isotonic drinks would work but what you could take after a workout to keep you going for a while would be: pint of milk, bananna, protein shake (if you have), creatine (if you have) and i usually take some glutamine after a workout also.
