    Hello folks,

Relatively new to baords so apologies if this query has been answered before. (My search function doesnt work and a Google search showed nothing).

Anyway, I have resolved to get back into shape and am looking for a decent, value for money gym in South Dublin. Was an international swimmer a few years ago so looking for a smart, well kitted gym WITH a pool area AND childrens' access. Was looking at Carlisle at KCR which seemed perfect with the exception of their No Children policy. If paying subs would obviously like to be able to take my 5yo son down for a swim once or twice a week rather than have to take him to another pool when he wants to swim.

Anyone have any suggestions for value for money, clean, well kitted gym, pool gym in Sth Dublin?

Thanks in advance for any help
    S

    Hi Elites,

Thanks for the tip. Pool is all I wanted access for the little lad - at 5 he's a wee bit wee for the ole lifting - so LA Fitness could be ideal. I've just rung for a brochure and to arrange a visit. Will let you know how I fare out.

Certainly if their website is anything to go by, they have a very... encouraging.. environment to work in. ;)

    Hi Sportacus,

would be worth looking at west wood in Leopardstown, pool is laned and the Triathlon clubs have squad sessions early morning, the standard is pretty high. Not sure if it's international standard!!

Don't have any kids but they seem to be very well catered for in there, it is pretty expensive though.
