I don't think that's the official "official" name yet (In fact I still believe RTC Tallaght is ;))

Legally, the name of the college is "Institute of Technology, Tallaght"..

The only person who can change it is the Minister for Education.

If the Director feels that Institute of Technology, Tallaght Dublin is more marketable then he has the power to change it, but he can't change the Institute of Technology part.

    Nope, not legally anyway.

The logo can be a big giant picture of the Director, but as far as the law (and our degrees) are concerned, the name of the college is the Institute of Technology, Tallaght.

    Nothing more, nothing less.
