    Hi

Doing my best to stave off joggers nipple with a bit of vaseline but not working fully enough - joggers nipple still a killer on the long runs - anyone any good ideas - putting plasters over the nipples never stays in place !

I'm using proper dry fit tops but I'm a medium size and maybe my top is too tight ? Should I have a loose top ?

    cheers
    frank

God I can't believe that I'm talking about my personal use of vaseline  Personally I find on long runs I need to use a lot of it, a good dolop of it. Maybe your not using enough? Additionally, if your wearing those tops that wick away sweat, I generally find they are a killer and need more. So more vas, or different tops, thats all I can think of.

Your probably right - I jog a lot in the gym and probably err on the side of vanity and put a small bit on - will go for the whole hog next time !

I use clear plastic surgical tape. You can get a roll of it for about 2 quid in the chemist. I find it survives sweaty long runs better than a band aid.

If you've got a hairy chest surgical tape may not be the best idea ;)

I used to use physio sport anti friction gel. I think they have stopped it now but basically it was a much harder version of vasaline.

    Pain! painpainpainpainpainpain.

I have a rather hairy chest. Can you buy synthetic smooth-type running shirts?

Just run stark naked, it would solve all the hassle.:D

So you're saying the solution is to wear a bra while jogging? Genius... someone should run out and get a jogging-bro patent.. right now! :D
