Morning all, first time caller, long time listener

I've been trying to get back into shape after about a year out of the gym, before that I was down to 84kgs, body fat was around the 13-15% mark, mainly around my stomach. Although I was very fit, I couldn't get it down further than that, probably because of my diet. I moved house last year, and a few other things meant I'm only getting back into the gym in the last 6 weeks, other than that the only real fitness work I've done was train for a 10km run last December. I'm up to about 96kgs now, I've not had a body fat test done, but I'd estimate it's around the 20% mark.

This is my regular day's eating, any recommendations gladly accepted:

8:30 Breakfast: cereal + orange juice. I'm lucky enough in that I live only about 15 minutes from where I work, so I generally don't eat again until lunch at 12, if I do it's usually just an apple to keep me going. I know I should have something again about 11:30 or so, but lunch is at 12, so I don't see the point?
12: Lunch: Canteen at work is muck, but the salad bar isn't bad. Tomatoes, lettuce, slices of ham and turkey, onions, etc. I get a burger on fridays as a reward for the end of the week
3: Afternoon break: piece of fruit, apple or orange or banana
get to the gym about 5:30, spend up to an hour in there, 30-40 minutes on weights, 10-15 minutes on treadmill. When I was at my peak, it was an hour on weights, and at least 30 minutes on the treadmill.
I try to get to the gym at least twice a week, monday and wednesday and starting to go on friday/saturday mornings now too. Play soccer after work for an hour on thursdays with that.

When I get home, I have a pot of yoghurt or another piece of fruit to stave off the hunger until I can get my dinner ready.
8(ish)Dinner: Chicken/Mince/Beef/Pasta. I get recipies from sites like menshealth.com and can cook fairly well at this point, although the portions maybe a little large. Generally I'll cook every 2 days, make enough for 2 days, put half in the fridge and microwave it the next day.
I've cut out drinking during the week, but do overdo it on saturday night.
I drink about 2-3 pints of water during the day.
My biggest problem is that the vending machine in work is about 30 seconds from my desk, and sometimes an apple just won't cut it and it'll have to be a mars. Actually that happens quite a bit!
