Have been feeling a bit run down lately.

    Typical day (yesterday):

    Breakfast at 8.30:
2 weetabix (normal milk). Cup of Coffee (no sugar)

    Break at 11:
Cup of coffee (no sugar), normal milk

    Lunch at 1:
Panini (filled with chicken mayo, cheese and tomatoes)

    Dinner at 6:
I usually just eat meat. Maybe a steak. No potatoes (for some reason in the evenings I go off them - as in I just dont want to eat them)

Normally if I am hungry after this I might have 2 slices of cambridges brown bread with some butter. And that does me for the day.

Is it a crap diet? Jees when I look at it actually, there is generally no fruit/veg involved. Not a big fruit/veg eater though. Are supplements as good as actually eating fruit/veg?

Yes, basically that is a crap diet. Not only it is totally unbalanced it's far, far too little.

Firstly, add alot more to your current "meals". If you don't like potato try maybe rice or pasta with your evening meal, and perhaps a bit of toast with your breakfast. Lunch seems relatively okay, possibly not the greatest nutrition wise but as meals go its not the worst.

    Even as simple as:

    Breakfast at 8.30:
2 weetabix (normal milk). Cup of Coffee (no sugar), Slice or two of wholemeal toast

    Break at 11:
Cup of coffee (no sugar), normal milk, banana

    Lunch at 1:
Panini (filled with chicken mayo, cheese and tomatoes), apple or an orange

    Dinner at 6:
I usually just eat meat. Maybe a steak. With pasta, rice, or potatoes, with a serving of some veg.

    And then your brown bread.

It wouldn't be an amazing diet but it'd be alot better then your current one.

if you add a piece of fruit to your breakfast, say a banana (nothing like a banana in the morning:) ) and another piece of fruit with your lunch or dinner, a serving, even if small of veg with your meat after work, surely you must like some veg, that would significantly increase the healthiness of your diet I think.
Then to make it better again, shorten the gap between lunch at 1 and dinner at 6, 5 hours is very long. Some kind of a snack around 4 would do you good.

    Thanks for the replies guys.

Basically, I am feeling very run down lately. No energy. Skin looks terrible/grey. Dark Circles under the eyes. Seem to be craving crappy (or crappier) food like crisps, chocolate etc. Not normally a sweet eater.

I am female, 5.6 and about 10.5 stone (varies between 10.5 and 11). Dont know my BMI. Have gotton a bit of a belly on me lately. When i put on weight, it goes to my ass, hips, thights, stomach. have noticed more cellulite than usual creeping up on me.

Sounds like I could do with Gillian McKeith.

Thing is, I sit in a chair all flippin day. Thats why i try not to eat so much.

Bascially feel old, sluggish, frumpy. Im only 27. Think its affecting my moods too, as am unhappy with the large belly.
