    BACK IN... for now!

King Kong (2 Disc Special Edition) - £3.99

Could be gotten for even less with a couple of vouchers lying about the place.

Would order this but put in a order for the 3 disc-er for €19.95 at the WOW a few weeks back.

EDIT (courtesy of Toy and damien.m's original post):
    Go here!

If you are not a CD Wow member you get a £2 voucher, if you are already a member you get a £1 voucher.

    10c cheaper! :D

    Every cent matters.

That is MAD value - got me one.

I nearly rented it last week for another watch. Would have cost me nearly twice as much since I'm always late back with rentals. :D

    Nice one.

Great price, but you can get a £2 voucher for a new account as described here:

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=52109809&postcount=38

I'm tempted to get even though I already have it!

Edit: Maybe you should edit that link into your origional post basquille?

    Done!

Tempted to cancel my original order for the 3 discer and get this instead but then i'd have wasted that €5 voucher i got a while back! :(

    Oohhh... decisions, decisions!

    Thanks!
Just picked it up for €3.99 using a €2 voucher I didn't even know was in my voucher bank! :)

Anytime I've cancelled an order that I've used with a voucher - they've refunded me monies paid and sent me a new e-voucher for whatever the value was of the original one!

Been flogged cheaply on other sites for ages.. i'd assume to make way for the 3 disc edition next month.

And CDWOW have been very much lacking on bargains recently!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 44,200 ✭✭✭✭Basq

Heh.. even though i had the 3 disc ordered, i had a load of £2 vouchers lying about so bought this for £1.99 (came across on €2.94 on the Laser Card).

How could i not for that price?! :D

EDIT: Contacted CDWOW about cancelling the 3 disc edition and they did. Refunded me and successfully re-imbursed the €5 voucher. Kudos to them!

Do you have a time limit on this €5 voucher? Regardless, I smell a way to extend the life of these vouchers, preorder something and cancel when you see something you like :D

No time limit stated.. but i've noticed if you contact CDWOW when a voucher expires, occassionally they will renew it for you.

Doesn't necessarily mean they'll ship it tomorrow... notice they said "hope to be able to dispatch" - doesn't always make it so. Probably will be soon enough though.

As for this... read here! (11 pages but an "interesting" read!)

I've had some pretty big delays with cdwow as well, but its usually been with older releases/warehouse items. But hopefully it will ship tomorrow and we won't still be here 11 pages from now. :)
