about losing weighti could ask whats the best to eat etc or excercise to do

5-6 different answers from people with 5-6 different bodies that react in different ways to varying foods & exercises.

Most answers are valid or quickly shot down if misinformation is given. For myself lifting heavy weights has proved to be very good in shedding fat.

You will simply have to read what people say, research it a bit yourself and find out what works best with YOUR body.

well, yeah, exactly. a lot of the info given is specific to a particular question. the same basic rules still apply to everyone, regardless of body shape, size, type etc. which are all outlined in the stickies.

you want to lose weight? burn more calories than you consume. it's that simple.

as to how you go about that, well that's the info specific to you. how fast will you lose it? do you want to retain muscle mass or even build muscle mass whilst losing fat? do you want to do it the healthy or the not healthy way? do you want to implement a long term healthy-eating plan? do you want to go high carb/ low carb/ carb cycling yadda yadda.

you'll find that most people who post info will have done their background reading a to the basics of fitness and have used that information to their own best advantage. learning how your body repsonds to different excercises and diets is all part and parcel of the 'get fit' process. and belive it or not, it's actually quite fun :o

Okay, i believe i have pointed this out to you before, i am not too sure, it may have been some other poster.....

.....but i believe you are the one with the severe motivation and self honesty issues yeah?

First off....being 19.5 stone is being 19.5 stone. It's really that simple. Being told you look 16.5 happens because

    a) no one can really guess weight very accurately....it incredibly difficult to do an people will always guess down, rather than up because they don't want to hurt someones feelings.
    b) no will say...."19.5 stone? Yeah figure, you look it you fat ****."

Now then, it's get real time. You need to set your goals, go after them with passion and knowledge and you need to accept your own failures.

Thats about all i'm willing to put into this thread right now, because quite frankly no matter what is said to you, will will be back in 3 weeks time with another similar post.
