Wonder if any of you out there can help me,
I have problems with my joints clicking, namely my shoulder, knees and a right ankle, is there any supplements you can take to stop this or exercises to do?

I was reasonable fit, but coming back from a cartilege tear in my knee, so taking it slowly now.

Not directly relevant, but maybe do a month or two of swimming two or three times a week to get your limbs moving if you have been sedentry from the past while. This will save on wear and tear on your joints.

Cod liver oil is very good for this. It lubricates your joints. My joints started clicking alot in the last few months for no reason. I started taking cod liver oil and now they only click the odd time.

I would really like to know why my joints were clicking in the first place though seen as im just 21.

Anyways, I hope cod liver oil works for you.

would they be as good as the oil

Yeah, its the exact same as far as I know. The cod liver oil gets released from the capsule in your stomach. There probably a little more expensive though.

Would cod liver oil stop your jaw-bone from cracking?

This happens me, its a bit strange.

afaik joint clicking is just from nitrogen bubbles in joints and is unrelated to any dehibilation of the joints themselves.

Exactly, I was told that if the clicking is not causing any discomfort or pain it's nothing to be worried about.

Its not that it causes discomfort, its just bloody annoying that every other time I lift my arm or stand up something is creaking or cracking, would be different if I was 60 or 70

Hope this is true. My knees seem to click everytime I stand up from my desk. My jaw, fingers and ankles also click. Take 3 cod liver oil capsules every morning.

I was told I'd have arthritis by the time I'm 40 but hopefully that was someone trying to scare me.

Try glucosamin chondroitin sulphate, you can geet it in capsules in any chemist, in fact they sell it in dunnes.

Glucosamine is a form of amino sugar that is believed to play a role in cartilage formation and repair

Chondroitin sulphate is part of a large protein molecule that gives cartilage elasticity

I was at a physio once and when i got off the table my ankles were clicking, he noted it in a way I thought that it was a bad thing.

I have seen cod liver oil tablets before with Glucosamine. Im not sure if seven seas offer Glucosamine with any of their products but its likely that they do.
