    Hello all,
We are in the process from switching from irish broadband to ntl (3mb package) and will be linking cable modem upstairs with iMac G4 flat panel downstairs via devolo dLAN ethernet adapters. Does anyone have information on this set up and/or comments on the following queries?

    1) Which ATA would be recommendable (for use with present eircom siemens cordless phone)?
    2) How does the set up work? Does the ATA connect with cable modem (presumably provided by ntl?) and telephone base station upstairs and then feed the internet connection via dLAN downstairs to my iMac or vice versa?
    3) What if it doesn't work - who provides the best tech support in cases like these?
    4) Does the ATA need to have a router built in? Why or why not?

Thanks ever so for any input.
