Ok, so I posted about gym and diet beforehand and have done a bit more research etc into what I'm going to do and have rethought my lifestyle change.

I train first thing in the morning. 7am - 8.10 am I've set set out 3 days for weightlifting (18 sets total with up to max of 6 lifts) with the purpose to increase strength for 7 weeks take 1 week off and then increase endurance for 7 weeks. This will bring me right up to christmas.

I've set out 2 days for cardio although I'm not gonna be specific with these days as I can do it in the gym on fat burner ( x trainer, rower) sessions or by playing astro with friends during college or playing rugby for the college side.

In terms of eating it's been said on this forum that it's best to eat 5-6 meals a day and load your carbs early and reduce your intake as the day goes on. Is this applicable to me?

I'm 6"4 and 16st with a slim build (people will say that I'm massive etc but I look at my chest and shoulders and see that they are not developed, my gut is massively out of shape yet you wouldn't be able to tell by looking at me) I'm looking to consume 2800

    Here's my question:

I'm aiming 6 meals a day - WO Shake, Breakfast, Mid-morning, Lunch, Afternoon, Dinner, Snack.

(1)What constitutes a meal, specifically I mean mid-morning, afternoon and snack wise? ie. 25grams of nuts and 2 pieces of fruit, slice of wholemeal bread with cold meats, 250grams pasta with tuna. Please post up if you've suggestions for healthy meals.

(2)Are protein shakes classed as a meal or would you eat your six meals a day plus 3 protein shakes?

    (3)Am I crazy?

    Late night post I know!

    Thanks

Ok, ye your right there's a sticky on top of the page on weight gain/loss that gives a calculator to work out your daily needs, (I forgot to add in calories for exercises:rolleyes: )

New Total is 3750 rounded up.

Anybody got some more suggestions for meals that can be had ie. ingredients.

Maybe there could be a sticky put at the top of the forum that has a list of meals that people can add to?
