Surf board for a 14 year old beginner

    Son done weeks surfing school in Sligo and now interested in getting a cheap board. Know someone who has a 6'5" Glide surfboard. Son is 5ft 7inch and medium build. Am I right in thinking this would be an inappropraite purchase for him ??

    get him a 6/10 bic its a short board but to him itle be huge , and hel progress really really well ...

    oh and bring him out there and then send hima way to a good beach when hes 16 with a job and a moped . and let him live there for 4 months :) ....

    thast what my dad did to me :D about 6 times tho so yeah
    tell him to get out there and become the king of the waves...
