    Hi,
I'm looking to get a decent pull-up/chin-up bar, one which can be wall-mounted or free standing(although I'm sure this is alot more expensive).
Does anyone have recommendations on where I might get one?

    Thanks,
    Martin.

Argos one is cheap, easy to mount and doubles to aid in floor excersise. I'd imagine they're all fairly similar though, being metal bars!

What do you mean by floor exercises? Is this the punchbag bracket in argos that doubles as a pullup bar? That's decent enough quality is it?

    Thanks.

You get extra wall things that you screw in down low, this lets your legs under so it holds you for sit-ups/crunches.

It is not the bracket, its the one that fits in a door frame.

    6 ft 3, 16 stone.

Would the argos pull-up door frame bar hold?
