salvaging Thunderbird feeds

I just opened up Thunderbird (1.5.0.5) to find that all my feeds and email accounts had been dropped; not sure why because I haven't made any updates or added any wierd extras to the thing, but they're gone..

Anyway, given that my settings meant that anything that came in on the feeds was cached I'm wondering if someone can tell me where I can go on my PC to salvage it, or would that be very hard to do?

I noticed when I added my email account again it had all the emails there automatically and didn't need to download them from the account, so the information must be there somewhere, but where?

    Using WinXP SP 2 btw.
