Water retention

    At the moment im cutting out carbs to leean out a bit,but a friend of mine down in the gym said i may have some water retention,how do i shift it,do i just keep my cardio going or what?

    Drink lots of water, 4-6 litres a day and it should help!

    drinking plenty of water will not contribute to water retention but a bad diet and eating late at night will. Get your gym instructor to caculate your BMI he/she would then have an idea if you do or do not have water retention. If you do then running will sweat it all out!:)

    Not sure of the exact science but drinking plenty of water will keep your system flushed so your body won't retain as much water which could be giving you the bloated look.
