    One difficulty is that "subject of importance" is subjective - Pat Kenny wouldn't be too relevant to most Americans. Also, if you have even a small proportion of entries that are complete sh*te, it affects the whole project....how can a user judge if something is rubbish if they are using wikipedia, by definition, to learn about that thing.

    I wouldn't use it as a reference in my thesis, but it's still pretty good.
    The best thing to do is just find the info on wiki, then quote whoever they quote as a reference
