To get us fit for the season my club is doing a boot camp style training all this week basically serouis HIT [running till your sick etc.] now I haven't been going to the gym regularly at all during the summer and have been going out a lot while a lot of my team mates have been taking it easy and going to the gym hard, just wondering is there anything I can do to help me with my fitness tomorrow, taking some no xplode, eating lots of fruit etc. also should I eat carbs like pasta before going or is it likely i'll vomit from having a big meal before going

    thanks

Probably best to get a good carb heavy meal in this evening, Also you probably know how your body reacts to training after eating so you are best placed on how you will train on a big breakfast, but if you can I'd go for it.
Then some slightly diluted lucazade sport (or home made versions) with protein during the training

Is there any advantage to HIT training, surely it will knacker the team out before the season has started. It doesn't sound like it's good for the body.

I don't think no-xplode will do alot of good,it's more for weight training and also can lead to upset stomach's. Try a standard carb drink or gel pre training such as High 5.

Cycle ways on Parnell St sell a really good brand, I've used it a good bit, can't think of the name sorry.
