Arts. But I live just a 15 min train trip to the college so Im staying at home. Wouldnt mind renting a house, cos a few of my pals are doing arts aswell!

All us Arts people should get to know each other before the course begins, that way everyone will slot right into the college!

I think there's like an orientation week or something from 16-19, and lectures start on the 19th? But that's a bit short isn't it? Other colleges get loads of social events and stuff for at least a week beforehand.

Well basically, everyone will go a little nuts.
People getting back from work/holidays/etc meeting up with friends, etc. theres also tours of the college, fairs day will probably be on that week or mabye one or two weeks after that too.

Not really, I was just saying that if one my good mates was going at least I could go over and talk to them while the ppl I didnt get on with all I really cud say was hi cudnt really talk to them for long!!

No no no Fuzzy! Their orientation week thing (the 11th to the 16th or whatever it is) is just them being shown around the college, getting to know other people in their class and getting them all registered.

Freshers fortnight (which includes Fairs day) doesn't start until the following week when everyone is back (so that everyone can pretend to be a fresher and get locked)

marissa, Irish??! :-D Yippiiiiiiiiiiiiiiie!! I won't though, but I love Irish. Can't because I haven't had Irish in school myself(am international).

I will do Basque, Celtic Studies and History or English. I'm a nerd. Geography is nice too, but I only like two modules and they aren't so popular, I think. Climatology + hydrology. :-(
