Yes that is what my first step is! I should of gotten at least 30 more points!im so dissapointed! Everyone is looking at me and i just want to curl up and get away! This is really horrible! i hope i do get more points though good luk to everyone else! 5 bs and a c not good all honours but not what i deserved!

I got mine, 10 points short of the the figure I needed, but that doesnt matter cause I only managed a D3 in maths so I cant get my first choice

I'm still gonna appeal for more points though, 2, if not 3 of my subject results were pure bollox.

Got me a nice 320 points..im happy with that cause i was only expecting around trhe 230 mark and only needed that to get into the course i wanted..

edit: i think you can get them after 12pm

really happy with my results! got them at 8 this morning!!!! got 405 points..hope its enough for midwifery! when i read this morning 4000 people failed ord.level maths i nearly had a fit...turns out i got an A1:)

Just don't tell her or don't let her get to you if you have to, she only ever liked her favourites the bint.

Also for anyone who isn't pleased or worried that they're short, firstly go out tonight and forget about it, and secondly point fluctuate every year for most courses.

AHHHHH so F*****G surprised with my results. Never thought i was capable of doin so bloody well. Got 530 points nd im over the moon. Only aimin for 330!!!
A1 in Biology nd Engineering, B1 in Irish nd English, B2 in Physics nd German, B3 in Maths. All Higher level!!!
I was well chuffed at the beginnin but the excitement has jus worn off now nd i jus feel tired, haha. Back t bed i suppose.
Wat happens next??!!

505..absolutely gutted. B1's everywhere apart from an A2 in English & B3 in French. I will be getting Art, Geography & Techical Drawing rechecked as I thought I did better. About 30 points off what I need....this is absolutely horrible

I got 600, wasnt expecting it at all! But I did work really hard because I wanted to do medicine. Trinity here I come, oh yeah:D

B2 AT LEAST.

After 2 hours of being upset, confused and slightly pissed off, I have calmed down a bit though, I needed a C3 in maths and didnt get it, so It rules me out of most of my courses. But I can still get into my first choice level 7 course, so I am not too bad now.

Maths - C1 (relieved and surprised)

Altogether, that's 565 which is a good 30 points above what I was shooting for. I'm skeptical about some of those grades considering I am the absolute suck at both physics and German. In any case, this is the greatest relief I've felt in months. Aaah... not more leaving cert terms to hear again... ever.

Since that other thread I posted in seems to have died, here's mine:

Applied Maths - A2 (was hoping/expecting an A1 but I'm not complaining)
Business - A1 (happy, obviously)
English - B1 (not pleased at all, thought I was guaranteed an A1)
French - A1 (absolutely amazed)
Irish - C2 (meh, probably about right)
History - A1 (happy, obviously)
Maths - A2 (with that paper, I'm ecstatic)

565 overall - about what I expected, so I'm happy. The individual disappointments and surprises balance each other out I suppose. I'm pretty safe for my course now which is the important thing.

Congrats everyone and shane0312 in particular. EDIT: And abercrombie too.

I got 485, it wasn't what I was aiming for at the beginning of sixth year but it was pretty much what I had expected to get after I finished the exams.

As far as rechecks are concerned, I might get French and Business looked at. I got B3's in the both of them which is a notable step-down from my mock results.

Like I said, my first choice has completely gone out of the window but unless there's a nationwide rush for Dental Technology, I'll be safe enough with that as my third choice.

OMG!!! I SOOOOOO HAPPY!!! I got 435 points! One of the highest in my year! And I've gotten well above the mark I need to do French & Spanish in Trinity!

Irish (O) - B2: Suprised as I'm usually rubbish at Irish!
English (H) - C1: Happy with such a difficult subject!
Maths (O) - B3: Astonished I actually passed, never mind getting an honour!
Geography (H) - A2: Nearly had a heart attack!
French(H) - C1: Je suis très heureux! My requirement to do French in college!
Biology (H) - B2: No complaints.
Home Ec. (H) - B1: Predicted!

I feel so sorry for my friend though. He was so disraught when he found out he got an E in higher maths and applied maths. Essentially, he has failed the LC. He wanted to do engineering.

yeah i found out that my friend got 475 and he needs about 520 to do the same course as I want...why can't i give him some of my points! WHY?!

Yeah! My firend got like Bs and Cs in his other subjects - it was just maths he failed (and A.Maths)! Actually 475 points is really good! Anyone who gets above 400 is very lucky. Actually anyone who gets their first preference should be very lucky! 520 points is a hard thing to get, isn't it?

Nice one! My LCVP fell through for me, got a merit. Which puts it on the level with my lowest grade (french)
