I've cobbled together a web page for the shop, its just a list of products etc etc, its not finished yet but I'd appreciate a little bit of feed back on its lay out.. its pretty basic mind you, let me know what you think..

    www.iutf-dublin.com/pro-nutrition.htm

    Thanks!!

    Jon,

I pass there twice a day...

    Anyway,

    1) Do not have a seperate window open when you click a product/sho directions - bad form, it'll put people off.

    2) Try to squeeze all your products onto one page - eg: use a text hyperlink listing going across etc. I've a 19" screen and it takes a few turns of the mousewheel to get to the bottom. Again this will put people off.

    3) Why no action on "buttons" from "Universal Nutrition" down?

    Hey Jon,

It works, but it doesn't encourage. By this I mean it certainly will serve the purpose of seeing what is avaible once you know who its made by, by you could do so much more.

Individual breaksdowns of the products, content lists, user reviews, trips and tricks for getting the most out of them, shake mix recipies, timing, calanders showing when to cycle on and off. Memebrs only sections for special deals, adavnced previews, study and trail offers etc.

You could make a fortune alone from advertising on the site let alone international and local orders etc. For instance on my site I make a nice 4 figures a month just on advertising, and some of my best pages relate to supplements. Combined with affialte linking programs it allowed me to retire as manager of Star Fitness and start my own training company after the site was up only 2 months.

Pm me and I can go through it in more detail if you'd like.

P.s. I know sweet FA about webdesign, code and crap like that...I have wonderful little programs that I make do all the work.

P.p.s. my webiste went up 3 Million places in Alexa ranking in 3 months, I have 15 no.1 listings in MSN, Yahoo, and Google...(none of which were paid for) oh and I pull in about 5,000+ visitors a month and am currently planning to have around 5,000 a day in the next 3 months. (I can send you screenshots of these if you'd like)

If I can pull this off, (I was once in UCD...qualified to work in Mac D's! only) imagine what you could pull off.

The site is too pricey,i can get the nutrition x for twenty quid cheaper and the ON whey for 15 quid cheaper.

The info quoted above is just for Isometric-Training.com. I do have two other sites, (and a third in the wings) but I will be completely overauling them once Iso is at 5,000 hits a day. At the moment its my chief focus.

well the prices are for a shop as oppose to an online retailer so of course it is goign to be dearer.

Jon as saif before the site isn't the most user friendly in the world. I would suggest doing the same old tested things that works on other sites. i.e. the frame on the left from which you can click to look at a category like protein or creatine, as if it is easier for a person to find the type of supplement they want there is more chance of them buying it from you where if they have to go through each vendor to see if they supply it they may just get pissed off and leave it

Thanks guys for the feed back, i know F all about web design so any comments are appreciated. I will endeavour to get it a bit more user friendly..
The site is just for the shop and not an on-line delivery service, so yeh thats why its a bit dearer.
There are no action buttons on universal down because I didn't finish it yet and my internet at home went out the window all last week, only back on-line now.

    Thanks lads for the advice

You have to be kidding me right????? He's using it to show stock, not sell stock. 4K for a site that merely shows stock is a bit steep my friend. ;)

Im kind of agreeing with you here Drag :) ... as you've pointed out, the site is merely an advertisement and a list of stock in the shop.
For anyone who wants to find out if we sell a product they might be chasing and prices included - thats all its intended to be!
