    If i want to keep a column in excel visible for when i scroll across how do i do this does anybody know? Thanks

    go to the "window" menu
    then click "split" or "freeze"
    it does the same thing in different ways

    To freeze a column: select the column to the right of the one you want to freeze and then go to Window, freeze panes
