Never really like DFA until I got a remix album off the net. It's called Romance Bloody Romance. Some of the songs are pretty savage! Check it out

if you liked the remixes keep an eye out for mstrkrft (master kraft) who regularly have releases as b-sides and remix albums for such bands as bloc party wolfmother chemical brothers amongst others . played in rouge on dame street few weeks ago never got going but heard it was pretty kicking .

i reckon there success and growth as a remix band/dj/group/producer/whatever is partially to blame for the split of DFA1979

Yeah its a shame they broke up. They had an original enough sound, which is hard to find from a new band these days. It pisses me off when I see a band with actual protential breaking up so soon, leaving more room for all the produced commercial crap.....another Killers album anybody????
