Maxi Muscle highly marketed and over priced.

XXX nearly ten euro's cheaper and tastes nicer with better quality.

As Cilla would say.. the choice is yours :)

Although XXX is cheaper, Cyclone seems to give you a lot more

Cyclone gives you 15gs more protein per serving, 8gs more creatine per serving and 5gs more glutamine than XXX for only 10euros extra

    surely this is better no?

besides taste and price does XXX have any other edges over Cyclone?

if not why do a lot of people say it is a lot better than Cyclone??

Nah, the protein lewvels are exactly the same. The creatine in Cyclone is monohydrate, the creatine in XXX is ethyl ester, recent scientific studies prove ethyl ester to be easily absorbed then mono.

As for the glutamine in cyclone, its a full chain which will fight for absorbtion against the protein chains.
Cyclone is ten years old and hasn't been changed much since then.

But if it works for you, keep using it!

Yea creatine ethyl ester blows regular mono out of the water. 40% of people cant absorb mono at all! Go wit the xxx.

HMB is probably the biggest con job out there. Its pure nonesense.

As you see Cyclone doesn't use glutammine AKG or it doesn't have any arginine in it.

personally, after all the bad experiences i've had with MaxiMuscle, I'd totally avoid any and all of thier products.

spaced has a bit of point (I've never used either but friends have raved about cyclone) there is HMB and Beta-Ecdysterone.

HMB is garbage.....and as far as i am aware will soon be classified as a drug in the uk so supplement companies will no longer be able to put it in products ( also as far as i am aware this is a direct result of companies doing so in the work place with no research showing any kind of results in human subjects - though this is all just grapevine stuff ).

Beta-Ecdysterone has shown some promise for adding lean mass, though not in the quantities given in Cyclone and is not cost effective for what it does. Maximuscle are basically putting in a little bit more than the bare minimun used from clinical trials.
