Males Vs Females on AH

Is it just me or do a large contingent of the male posters have it in for certain female posters here? (namely CoolSmileyGirl and Keira). Out of curiousity whats this about? In all fairness Ive never seen much that was particularly annoying or plain bullsh1t posted by any of the main hate figures.*
Indeed, it would be very safe to say that 90% of the utter sh1te on AH comes from a core group of maybe 3 male and 1 female poster (and the female doesnt really take any flak afaik). I would name names, but sure thatd be a whack of the ban stick across the hole.

People dislike me coz I tend to fight my corner till the death which písses a lot of people off. Also I’m very opinionated which gets on peoples nerves too. Its no big deal and I quite enjoy it tbh ( in a strange sadistic way).

I think it's because, without meaning to cause offence to either of the girls mentioned, they are both quite happy with themselves, seem confident, like to talk about sex, would seem to enjoy a good time and a laugh etc.

i dont think so. i certainly havent seen it.
i am certainly aware that there are a large number of younger posters that seem to have some sort of strange mysoganistic view of things, but that will actually be beaten out of them once they start getting into relationships and the find out the world is not black and white as they currently percieve it

i think you will find that most posters complain or have a small back lash against people who are annoying.
its the same for anyone.
so if someone appears to be picked on its becuase most people dont like the persona that some people put forward.

why not? i mean i tell people all the time what my personal opinion of them is.
it is different however to just abuse someone. although there are certain people who just annoy me, mysterious for example who just continues to bring some random annoyance into every conversation. and hence why the said user is now banned.

and i have threatened certain posters with banning if they do the same thing, and now they have stopped bitching at each other (yes, that would be keira and CSG and one or two others as well

I am trying to pick my words very carefully here to avoid a ban, but I think the reason people don't like you is because you come accross as a bully and a bitch...

and they don't like CSG because she talks about ehr sex life the whole time and doesn't seem to know when to shut up and just keep out of a thread.

For example, I have seen a few threads where someone will be mean to CSG, someone comes on to defend her... then lots of people defend her, and its all going well.... until she posts something that makes all her defenders groan out load and wish that they could log into her account and delete her last post!

I have often noticed the hatred for coolsmileygirl and wondered where it came from. This is probably because I'm relatively new to this. But.. Kiera.. I didn't know she was a hate figure .. news to me.

Fair enough. IMHO Hobbes talks so much sh1te and seems so out of touch with the real world that initially I thought he should be banned for trollism (grr, I hate using internet vocab but I cant think of a real world equivalent) . Grating usually has an extreme effect on the flavour of cheese, you should never buy pre grated parmesan or grate a whole wedge at a time for storage.

Yes, this is funny when people attack me and then loads defend me but It happens and its good craic sometimes!



In fairness you need the female touch to boards instead of the usual male opinion
but men will be men and give their opinion at the end of the day and so will women but in boards case majority will sometimes win

OP: It's not an issue of males -vs- females, it's normal posters -vs- idiot attention whores(not naming names). They may not be like that offline, but its the persona they put forward online and if they suffer abuse for it they've only themselves to blame.

Personally I dislike you because of your obsession with putting CSG down all the time. You think your on a moral crusade to "educate people" about their behavior. I actually really like CSG for the way she takes everything that gets thrown at her (no pun intended) . Ironically she has shown herself to be more mature than the self styled Mary Poppins who is obsessed with having a go at her about her morals. There have always been female posters.

There have not always been female poster who insist on telling everyone they are female when they post on any topic.

There have not always been female posters with the vast % of thier posts are about thier sex life/girlie topics/pics of themself/flirting/bitching.

There are many posters that the vast majority of the users don't know that they happen to be people of the female gender.

This male v female crap has only happened with the recent influx of girlie female posters.

And yes such posters will get call attentsion whores esp by the male posters who can't believe the carry on when they know the other types of female posters and are repulsed by the carrings on of the girlie posters.

It doesn't say when you sign up to boards to tick a box saying if you are male or female.
If you are male or female is not in your profile and honestly it should not make and difference in the vast majority of topics that boards.ie covers.
Your gender only becomes and issue if you decide to make one of it.
