Welcome to the Sleeping/Dreaming forum. Please take the time to read this charter before posting and if you have any questions/comments feel free to contact either myself or Goodshape.

The purpose of this forum is to discuss all things dream/sleep related. For example,
-Sleeping disorders
-Recurring dreams
-Unusual dreams
-Dream analysis and interpretation
-Tips for getting good sleep
and anything else that people feel is relevant to the forum.

Tar.Aldarion and Goodshape would like all posters to take note of the following:

Dream analysis/interpretation:
Posters need to be aware that there are many different ways in which dreams can be interpreted. As such, posters who ask for interpretations of their dreams may get a number of different responses. Interpreting a dream, particularly a complete stranger's dream, is very difficult as the symbolism is often unique to the dreamer. Dream interpretations should always be taken with a pinch of salt and respect must be shown on all sides. If posters do not wish to have thier dreams interpreted then they should make that clear in their opening post. This must be respected by all other posters.

The paranormal/spiritual element of dreams:
Discussion of the spiritual or 'paranormal' aspects of dreams, from lucid to out-of-body-experiences is very welcome on this forum. Any topics posted which are not directly sleep/dream related will be moved to a more relevant forum.

With those two points in mind can posters please adhere to the following basic forum rules of boards.ie.

Advertising
- Topics/posts that contain this will be both edited and locked. If you wish to buy ad space, contact DeVore.

Flaming
- Posts containing personal attacks on another user will be edited/deleted.

Spamming
- Topics/posts that are just complete nonsense will be deleted.

Racism
- Topics/posts containing such will be edited/deleted accordingly.

Porn
- Topics/posts containing such will be deleted on sight.


If you feel that any of these rules have been broken please use the report post function and one of the mods will deal with the situation promptly.
